Naturopathy
may be viewed
as the treatment
of illness using
natural methods.
This can include
diet and lifestyle
adjustment and
the use of specific
safe natural remedies
including some
homeopathic, herbal
or nutritional
preparations.
In all cases the
naturopathic philosophy
is one of assisting
the body to heal
itself by creating
the best possible
internal environment
to encourage the
self-healing process
to proceed as
unimpeded as possible.
Hadley Wood Healthcare
can offer the
services of our
naturopaths for
most health problems
and our nutritionist
for those seeking
specialised and
in-depth dietary
analysis and advice.
Specialist
food intolerance
testing
Food intolerance
is not usually
life-threatening
but can cause
unpleasant symptoms.
The symptoms of
food intolerance
can be delayed
for many hours
or even days and
for this reason
it is often hard
to identify the
problem foods.
Some
symptoms of intolerances
may be caused
by an enzyme deficiency
or chemical sensitivity,
while others involve
an immune response
associated with
raised levels
of antibodies
to the food concerned.
Over time, immune
complexes can
become deposited
in joints and
other organs.
If symptoms are
related to this
type of immune
response, the
detection of food
specific IgG antibodies
can be helpful.

details on how
to get tested
for 59 different
food intolerances
from one small
finger prick sample
of blood. We can
mail you a blood
collection kit
in the post and
test your blood
in our clinic.
Results can be
emailed or posted.
