Massage has been used for thousands of years as a non-invasive, yet very powerful method that treats many complaints of the body that are characterized by general or specific aches pains and regional discomfort.
Miyuki has trained extensively and now combines many techniques in her approach. For example, Holistic Deep Tissue Massage combines the deep tissue techniques of Sports Massage along with gentler and more relaxing techniques of Holistic Massage. Miyuki finds this approach offers more direct relief from many of the symptoms commonly experienced in body related to muscular pain and its ability to secondary symptoms such as headache.
At the same time, an additional benefit of massage is it's ability to induce relaxation. This helps in so many ways and has been shown to help the bodies immune system and ability to self heal. Regular massages can also prevent unnecessary strains and injuries by maintaining joint and muscular flexibility. For those suffering from fatigue and general tiredness massage offers a refreshing treatment that benefits the entire body and boosts mental energy.
Miyuki has trained extensively in therapeutic, holistic and sports massage obtaining the internationally recognized ITEC qualifications in all of these techniques and approaches. She has also attended for specialist training in deep soft tissue massage and neuromuscular technique. Prior to this Miyuki graduated with a BA in Human Science.
